REPENTANCE OVER BEING HONEST

One who repents over being honest is worse than a dishonest person for the reason that a dishonest person enjoys the pleasures of being dishonest but an honest person who repents over being honest, besides not enjoying the pleasures of dishonesty refuses to enjoy the pleasures of honesty. ‘Dharam’ is what man cannot depart with. As such, individuals should follow ‘Dharam’ not because of any necessity, but, for their own welfare.  One, who does not want his welfare, need not follow ‘Dharam’. Man is incomplete and for this reason he needs means of happiness or pleasure. God being complete does not need any means. ‘Dharam’ directs a person to deal with God, his own soul and other souls of the universe and other inert articles of this universe in the best possible manner.
